2/15/11The SXSW schedule is now available. WAFFLE will screen 3 times during the festival as part of the Midnight Shorts program. The first screening will be on March 11 at the Alamo Ritz 2 at 11:30pm. The second will be on March 13 at the Alamo Lamar B at 11:15pm. Kerri Ford is a seasoned NY actress-singer-dancer with many credits to her name and is an alumna of the Educational Theatre program at NYU. She is currently on tour with ArtsPower and recently performed with the ETNY company and at Rye Playland. Kerri was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Award for her role of Chrysothemis in 'Are You There Zeus? It's Me, Electra' in the 2010 Planet Connections Festivity. Rafael is an award-winning filmmaker born and raised in New York City. At the age of three, he wore out his father's beta machine due to watching "Masters of the Universe" (1987) repeatedly and gained an infatuation with horror films soon afterwards. Since graduating from Fordham University, his short films have screened at festivals such as the Dragon*Con Independent Short Film Festival, Rhode Island International Horror Film Festival and Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors. Philly born and bred, Anthony Sylvester is currently a Harlem based filmmaker with a focus on music videos and documentary. A frequent collaborator with other artists, Anthony wears many hats as producer, director, shooter, and editor in various projects throughout the city and abroad, having most recently completed a documentary in Ecuador focused on a working children's center in Quito.
